It's a challenge but very rewarding. You don't have to be a serious bird watcher to enjoy the challenges of photographing birds. Some of the best opportunities can be found in your own back yard.
Hi Stephen, when you say none of the birders have breeched 800's yet, that is in fact incorrect. Many of the top birders have lists well over 800 and a friend of ours did a Birding Big Year and observed 803 species in that year only.
